The special issue’s goal is to explain the role of new, exponentially growing technologies for different organizations and for society as a whole.

We focus on the accelerated convergence of a significantbundle of exponential technologies such as AI, additive manufacturing, augmented and virtual reality, digital biology and biotech, nanotech, robotics, IA and autonomous machines.

The consequences of such technologies to business and society are absolutely massive, disruptive, and bearing positive and negative implications. It becomes then essential to reach a comprehension of how (to what extent and a what pace) to adopt and implement these important technologies in various organizations in a positive way.
