NEW: California Management Review Issue on Digital Transformation 2020

With my esteemed colleagues Carmelo Cennamo (Copenhagen Business School), Alberto Di Minin (Sant’Anna Advaced School in Pisa and Berkeley) and Gianvito Lanzolla (Cass Business School), I have been fortunate to experience the journey to co-editing and publishing the California Management Review Summer 2020 Special Issue entitrely devoted to the topic of Managing the Digital Transformation.

The proliferation of new digital technologies is extending the horizon of firm activity. Digital transformation is a force that is revolutionizing most industries and sectors. The essence of the introductory piece is summarized in the framework, that attempts to see side by side modalities of value co-generation and scope of the transformation.
